The evening of Thursday 3 October reaffirmed the partnership between Marina Genova Aeroporto and Marina di Olbia. The twinning, agreed upon during the 2013 summer season, has the aim of uniting the two ports and bringing shipowners sailing between Liguria and Sardinia closer together. The networking project is aimed at guaranteeing the same services and welcome to those staying in both marinas.
This idea, put into practice by Giuseppe Pappalardo, CEO of Marina Genova Aeroporto and supported by Giampietro Sirca, chairman of Marina di Olbia, was celebrated in a fairly original manner during the Salone Nautico di Genova on board the Signora del Vento, an ancient sailboat which was recently renovated to be used as a holiday charter, for events, parties and weddings.
Guests were entertained by traditional music from both regions, as well as two fantastic buffets based on local cuisines which made everyone’s mouths water.
