Time seems to have stood still for him: the same air of being a dreamy-eyed, clean-faced youth he has always had. This is how the Hollywood star, always on the lookout for a new challenge, took part in the America’s Cup, which is taking place in the Bay of San Francisco, giving Team New Zealand a day of excitement.

Tom Cruise and Connor, his adopted son from his first marriage to Nicole Kidman, came on board the Kiwi’s AC72 and carried out some maneuvers, after having watched their fifth win in a row against the Luna Rossa.

The Cruises took part in the maneuvers along with the other eleven members of the crew and took their place at the tiller, for a few seconds, “dethroning” the skipper, Dean Barker.
“He started a competition with his son to see who could go faster,” said Barker, “It was really exciting for the team to have a star like him on board.”

Another “mission impossible” with a happy ending? You be the judge.
