Once again, along with the Salone Nautico, the Marina di Genova Aeroporto’s calendar is full of events.

It all begins Thursday 3 October, at 19.30, at an invitation party on board the 85-metre schooner “La Signora del Vento”, docked in the marina. Giuseppe Pappalardo, CEO of the Marina, and Gian Piero Sirca, chairman of Marina di Olbia, will present “The Perfect Solution”, a partnership between their two marinas working in the most exclusive “pleasure boating triangle” in the Mediterranean. By following this link you can watch the video that Liguria Nautica made of the Signora del Vento during last year’s Boat Show.

With the participation of various public authorities, the berth will be named after the exceptional person of Luigi Ferraro, Genoese, Gold Medal in Military Valour, pioneer, inventor and entrepreneur of diving activities. It all begins at 10.30 with the naming ceremony, then followed by an exhibition of memorabilia, photographs and documents entitled “Luigi Ferraro: An Italian Hero” at 11.15 at the Marina Place Resort.

There is also, of course, a sports activity: Sunday 6 October the second “Marina Genova Aeroporto” Prize will take place. A high level regatta organized by the Marina. This is a sailing regatta for “ORC, free style and J24 classes”, with a windward race along the Charlie competition area (in front of the Lanterna).
